Year 2 - Mountfichet castle

Year 2 had a fantastic trip to Mountfichet castle last week (Tuesday 11th March). With the sun smiling down on them, all the children had a fantastic, fun-filled day, learning about the different parts of a castle. Classroom learning was certainly brought to life, as the excited explorers saw a motte, arrow slits, battlements and a draw bridge! Behaviour throughout the day was excellent and everyone enjoyed themselves. Thank you to all the adults who made the trip possible, especially all the parent helpers who supported the school staff.
