Design a Christmas Bauble Competition

Tuesday 1 November 2016

The Liberty Shopping Centre is holding its annual ‘Design a Christmas bauble competition’ 2016, where Primary schools throughout the borough can take part. The artwork from the winning school will be incorporated as part of the centres Christmas decorations and made into a giant bauble that will be showcased by suspending the giant bauble from the ceiling, which will be seen by all shoppers, and as you can imagine the Christmas period is the busiest time of year! Plus the winning school will receive a cheque of £100. This event gains lots of newspaper coverage and is a great way to showcase the talent of our pupils.

For this competition Primary School pupils need to design a Christmas Bauble that best represents Christmas in our school. A finalist from 10 schools will then get the chance to make their bauble and the school will be invited to The Liberty Shopping Centre throughout December to participate in a finalist’s bauble ceremony. Finalists and their school will place their decorated bauble on to The Liberty Christmas tree and perform Christmas carols in aid of The Liberty charities of the year which are Essex British Heart Foundation and Havering Sycamore Trust – Autism Hub. Deadline for entry is Monday 7th November.

A letter explaining entry details and the bauble template are available here...good luck!
